PUBLIC NOTICE
The Health Department has received inquiries and notices of concerns regarding offers of “in home” COVID-19 testing and vaccinations provided by the Health Department nursing team members. At this time, the Health Department is not providing services to the home bound population.
Should the public receive a phone call, text message, email or even someone knocking on their door with the promise of vaccine access or testing, it is a scam. Please ignore any vaccine offers that ask you to pay to place your name on a list to get the vaccine or to provide personal information. Additionally, please do not share your Social Security number, bank account number or credit card number.
We ask the public to recognize red flags of potential scams and to express caution to our vulnerable populations.
