** Michigan City Manufacturer of 20 Years Highlighted at March 2 Commission Meeting **
(LaPorte County, IN): At the LaPorte County Commissioners’ meeting held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, the LaPorte County WORKS! business report presented Filtration Plus Inc., located in Michigan City, IN.
“We are grateful for the willingness of our local companies to open their doors to us during these business retention visits. They learn about the benefits of receiving help from the county, and we learn about what they are doing to benefit our communities’ economic health,” stated Mike Seitz, IOM, Business Retention Manager of the LaPorte County Office of Community and Economic Development.

Located at 4208 N. 900 West. Michigan City, IN 46360, Filtration Plus Inc. is a manufacturer of high-quality micron rated liquid filter bags & bag filter housings. They have over 20 years in business and are one of the largest filter bag manufacturers in America. All of their products are manufactured in America, and they are dedicated to providing excellent customer service and high-quality products. The factory staff have starting wages of $15.00 an hour. They offer 401k, complimentary life insurance and health insurance. The company pays half the premiums for dental and another health insurance plan. All major holidays are paid along with 1-week paid vacation after specific years of employment. The company is competitive in wages and benefits with the shift from 6:00am-2:00 pm.
They currently have openings for seamstresses and are willing to train applicants. They also have openings for material spreaders, bag assemblers, and general utility / labor.
