Deadlines, Penalties, & Fees

Tax bills are mailed once a year typically in late March or early April each year. There is no Fall mailing!  Based on the March 1st ownership, taxes are due and payable the following year in two (2) equal installments on or before May 11th and November 10th. If a due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or national legal holiday recognized by the federal government, or a statewide holiday, the deadline is extended to the next working day.

Please note: Failure to receive a tax statement by mail does not relieve taxpayers of their responsibility for payment or penalties when delinquent. It is the taxpayer’s responsibility to know how many parcels they have and to verify that the taxes on each one of them are paid.

If your Spring or Fall property tax payment is received after the due date, a penalty will be added to the unpaid balance.

• Payments received within 30 days after the due date are generally assessed a 5% penalty.
• Payments received more than 30 days after the due date are assessed a 10% penalty.
• If your property already has delinquent taxes from a prior year, a 10% penalty is applied to any late payment, regardless of how many days have passed since the current installment was due.

To avoid additional penalties and interest, we encourage you to make your payment on or before the installment due date.

Duplicate tax bill fee is $1.50 per bill, payable in advance.

Mobile Home Permit fees are $10.00 each.

Property Profile Info Sheets are $1.00 per sheet.
